The Island of Tiburon is just south of California. R.E.L. Robinson was a correspondent for the San Francisco Examiner and lived in Phoenix AZ. He and a group went exploring and he and one other member of the party went ashore on the Island and were murdered by the natives who were cannibals. Accounts of the event made the AP wires...was hoping it was in the local paper where he grew up to confirm the identification. Family tradition is all I had until I actually found the account in other national papers. Faye
