R.E.L. (Robert E. Lee)Robinson/Robeson was on census in Fannin and Cooke counties with his parents in 1870 and 1880 before leaving home for the West. He was a writer and adventurer out in Arizona and was murdered on the island of Tiburon off Mexico by natives May 26, 1891. The incident made the AP wires. Was hoping there might be something in papers back in the region where he grew up. His parents were John Marion and Ellen Self Robeson/Robinson. Any help would be appreciated.
