Hi all Been a while since I last posted. I am still stuck finding George S. Lock(e) in the 1870 Census. Here is what I can tell you. 1. 1864 he married Miriam Frances Dennison in Cooke County Texas 2. He was living in Fannin County by 1880. (Census) 3. He was living in Collin County in 1860 with his parents George F. Lock (census) 4. His parents George F. Lock were living in Crawford County Arkansas in 1870 (Census) 5. His sister F.A (Lock) Brewer was also living in Crawford County Arkansas in 1870 (Census) FANNIN COUNTY TX 1880 Federal Census Soundex L200 Vol 11 , ED29 , Sheet 4 , Line 16 ( State Census , Page 485 , 32-32 ) Geo. Lock , age 5 , b. Tx Son , Thos. A. Lock , age 3 , b. Tx This census is his parents with his brothers and sister, but George S. Lock is missing. CRAWFORD COUNTY ARKANSAS 1870 Census Page 351 , pg 10 , 84-83 Farmer , Worth $400. G. F. Lock , White Male , age 57 , b. Ky S. A. Lock , White Female , age 50 , b. Ky O. B. Lock , White Female , age 16 , b. Ky J. L. Lock , White Male , age 13 , b. Tx Jacob Lock , White Male , age 7 , b. Tx C. C. Lock , White Male , age 2 , b. Tx This has been a hugh mystery for me and I need help locating him anywhere USA in the 1870 Census. I tried Ancestry and FTM census pages and both do not show him on the census index. I have also tried variations: Lack, Lacke, Sack, Sacke, Lake, Lackey etc: with no luck. Cudo's to the person(s) who can find him because I sure can't find him. I have spent many years trying to find him :( I suspect he is either in Texas or Arkansas in 1870. HELP! :) Thanks in advance for any help Donald Locke
