I want to welcome our new members, Marilyn Symonds, Mary Hewitt, and Kathy Tate. I also want to encourage you to post the surnames you are researching on the list. I'm researching the following surnames, Hunter, Fiveash, Barefoot, Curry, Christy, Miller, Talley, Freer. Most of them lived in or around Comanche Co at some time. Marlyn I can remember listening to the stories around the dinner table when I was a kid and Deleon was mentioned often. My husband's uncle (a Miller) was buried there a few years back. I have a couple of Northcutt's in my index , Bead Monroe Northcutt, Becky Mae Northcutt, and James Clifton Northcutt, but they probably would have come from Titus Co, Texas or Hunt Co, Texas.
