    3. Season's Greetings to each of you. Great things have been happening on the Colorado County TXGenWeb site. Recently David Strickland furnished us with an Excel data base of all Colorado County Marriages from 1966 to 2001. With the help of my grandson and Bill Stein, they are now online alphabetized by both brides and grooms. Thank you David. On Friday, I received notification that the census images for 1850, 1860, 1870, 1880, 1900, 1910, and 1920 had been uploaded to rootsweb. We have the Nesbitt Memorial Library and the Nesbitt Memorial Library Foundation to thanks for this great addition. You will recall that they furnished us with 1930 images earlier. You may access any of the above data by going to http://www.rootsweb.com/~txcolora/onlinedata.htm David Hahn did a searchable index for 1930 and several volunteer did the same for 1850 and 1860. We are working on searchable indexes for 1870 and 1900. If any of you are interested in helping with any of the indexing, please contact me. Work continues on our obituary project. Dennis Boatright and Dorothy Cox are helping with transcriptions.(Copying obits that are not their relatives) Many others have been sending in obituaries on their family members. I have received several emails from researchers who have been helped by this project. Keep up the good work. Happy Holidays, Dorothy Albrecht albrecht@fais.net County Coordinator, Colorado County TXGenWeb Project http://www.rootsweb.com/~txcolora/index.htm
