They came to Colorado County in the mid 1800. George Halyard owned land in Colorado County and at one time ran a ferry in Columbus. Would appreciate any information on the ferry, what years, picture etc. John Henry married Catherine Mahar, Alfonso married Loretta Bacon.Don't have spouses on Marcellas or Leander. George was married to a Mary ? who died in 1861 and then to Susan P Carter.
