I have researched the Pfeffers in Austin Co. who lived in the Kenney area for sometime, and even researched the Pfeffers in Germany before they came over and I am puzzled about Sophia Pfeffer. I didn't even know she existed until someone gave me the records about her. Now what I do know, is that my immigrant Johann Andreas Christian Pfeffer had 2 sisters and 1 brother who all died before he married. Johann had 7 children when they left Germany and one was born in Austin Co. None of them are named Sophia. Besides Johann married in 1833. Johann's father married in 1807, but I don't know anything about a Sophia Pfeffer. Please clear up for me just who she is, where she came from and who her parents are. We may have a connection, but as of this writing I don't know where or when. I tried sending this message to your email address and it came back that the postmaster could not deliver.
