My family from Colorado County are Jessie Johnson who married Mary Jane Massie in Frelsburg on 25 Dec 1873. I don't know where they were born except that they were both born slaves. Jessie was the son of an Irish slave owner and a slave. They later moved to LaGrange, Fayette County then to Fort Worth, Tarrant County. Sharon James sljames@sbcglobal.net
