The family is believed to have been residents of the Columbus, Colorado Co., TX. area Dora Hayek was born December 17, 1884 in Columbus, TX.., and died January 09, 1971 in Columbus, TX... She married Ernest Conrad Bertsch October 01, 1902. He was born July 13, 1883, and died February 12, 1966. Children of Dora Hayek and Ernest Bertsch are: #1 Lester Bertsch Child of Lester Bertsch is: i. Louis W. Bertsch, born August 02, 1951. He married Lanice Oeltjen August 09, 1972 in Fayette Co., TX; born 1950. #2 Ernest J. Bertsch was born January 29, 1928, and died June 28, 1983. Child of Ernest J. Bertsch is: i. Ernest Julius Jr. Bertsch, born November 06, 1957. He married Carol Spann August 04, 1978; born September 11, 1957.
