C. Reese and S. E. Hogge obtained a license to marry on 20 December 1881. They were married on 23 December 1881 by E.(?)S. Haynes. The record does not show whether Mr. Haynes was a Justice of the Peace or a Minister of the Gospel. The Texas Death Index shows: R. C. Reese died June 12, 1922 (Certificate # 16583) Sarah E. Reese died January 25, 1932 (Certificate # 959) They are both also listed in the Obituary Index. I will try to get copies of their obituaries for you.
