Married Rachel O. Tucker on 13 Nov. 1818 in Halifax Co., VA. Came to Texas with the ABSTON Family. They migrated to Collin Co., Texas, about 1853, to find a more favorable climate for slave ownership. Their children were: Edward C., Martha Jane, Amanda P.F., Abigail O., Daniel Marion, Maryann E.P., Isaac Wesley, Lucy F., Rachel Bell, Socrates, Clementine V. , Josiah L., and William Henry. My line is through Socrates H., (b. 1836 in KY) who married Elizabeth A. Cooper in 1857 in McKinney, Collin Co., TX. Their children were Mary Helen and Isaac Milton, born in Sanger. Isaac is my g-grandfather. He married Cora Lee Alexander, who was born in Parker Co., TX in 1885. I would appreciate hearing from anyone regarding these families.
