I am researching Royall, Allen and collateral lines. Jonathan ALLEN was born 26 July, 1796 in South Carolina and died 18 November, 1867 near McKinney in Collin County, Texas. He married Martha (surname unknown), who was born 8 April, 1801 in Virginia and died 23 September, 1886 in Collin County, Texas. Records show them in Collin County by 1846, via Arkansas. Both are buried at Pecan Grove Cemetery near McKinney, TX. Jonathan and Martha had at least eight children (15): Thomas J. ALLEN Henry T. (F.?) ALLEN Cornelia (Caroline) V. ALLEN married a HAMILTON. Daughter Connor (Cannon?) (unproven possible married name). Pinckney Pike ALLEN b. ca 1843 married Flora (--?--)k. Adelia (Althea) Dialpha ALLEN b. ca 1844 married Patrick BATEMAN 1870, Collin County. Malachi Weston ALLEN married Virgina ROYALL. Unknown Child(ren) referenced in land records. Malachi Weston ALLEN, b. 11 March, 1823 marr. 21 July, 1857 in Austin, Texas, Virginia Harding ROYALL, b. 14 October, 1832, Matagorda County, Texas, d. 20 March, 1906, McKinney, Texas. Malachi is recorded in Collin County in 1847. Virginia was the daughter of Richard Royster ROYALL and Ann Alexander UNDERWOOD ROYALL.
