    1. [TXCOLL-N-L] 'Pinky" Boyett, TX 1895
    2. I am researching my greatgrandfather, "Pinky" Boyett. He came to Texas about 1895 to pick cotton. He brought his two daughters with him. He got in a fight with some mexicans and they cut his throat while his daughters watched. They called him "Red" and he perferred "Pinky". He was supposedly killed at Sipe Springs, in Commanche Co., TX. and his body was being returned to Arkansas, but was buried in or near McKinney, TX. I heard at one time that there was a Sipe Springs near McKinney, but cannot verify that now. I wonder if that is why he was buried near McKinney. I would like to locate the burial place. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Bill Baker wib0415@aol.com
