My 2Great Grandfather and his family came from Wilson County, TN in 1859, to Collin County: Hamilton DOUGLASS and wife, Mary (GILL)...sons John Gill Douglas, Elijah Houston Douglas, Hamilton Douglass, Jr., and Raleigh White Douglas & Granddaughter, Caledonia "Donia" FORBIS (dau of deceased Sarah Douglass Forbis) Another set of 2Great Grandparents came from Jefferson County, AR, in 1858, to Collin County: James Madison BURKE and wife, Sarah (DEMING) and children: William, Solomon, James F., Joseph C., Margaret, Thomas P., Levinia E., Eliza Jane, John H., Sarah A., Marion M., and George W. (note: two more children were born in Collin County). A third ancestral line came from Washington County, AR, in 1858: James FRANKLIN and wife, Cynthia, and sons, Abner and Isaac.
