Patricia, Mattie Rutherford rings a bell. One of my g aunts married Hosea Rutherford. That's all I have for now, but Mattie sure sounds familiar. Hosea and his wife are buried in the Anna Cemetery north of McKinney, Collin Co. TX. I'll send this and find out what I can about Hosea. That might help.
