This is my first request to this site and I appreciate those who have made it possible. I am searching my BEATY FAMILY who lived in Fannin County in 1846. They came to PETERS COLONY. I believe that this is in now COLLIN County. My GGGrandfather Jesse G. Beaty, b. 1820 VA. came from Logan county, KY., with his wife Susan Nelms, b. 1818 and their children, John S. Beaty, b. 1842, and Thomas William Beaty, b. 1844 in Logan Co. KY. Susan and an infant child died in an epidemic that struck the Colony shortly after they arrived. I have heard from family members that she is buried somewhere along WHITE ROCK CREEK. Does anyone know of any cemeteries in that area? Thanks, Armond Clinton Beaty
