Haven't been on the list long, but I have found everyone's post interesting. I have just started researching my husband's family. The Wright's came to Collin COunty in 1853. Settled around Farmersville and Princeton, Reuben Wright and his family were the first I know of. Also looking for Arthur Wellington Compton, Drucilla Elizabeth Wardlow, Joshua Brile Osborn[e], The family of Emory Denton Ellenburg,Sr, and his wife Genevieve Gallaher, they lived in Wylie, They were supposed to be cousins.
