I just put a question to the list earlier, but I will add that the TATES came from Ga.Va.Ky.Tn.then to Tx. They were also in Ok. during the early 1900's. William TATE was supposed to have died in 1899 at Sacred Heart Ok. He is my BRICK WALL. I find info about his parents, etc. But not him. He married Mary "May" COCKES from around there, but she is another BRICK WALL. I can find NOTHING on her. I know they were there, just can't find them. I know Rev. John TATE was there. Surley he was a preacher at one of the churches there in Collin Co., but I cannot find anything on that either. I wonder why ?
