The Bomars lived in Collin County and Grayson County. There was a community northeast of McKinney known as Bomar Chapel, Methodist. According to Collin County Families by Minnie Champ, a Jim Bomar was born at Bomar Chapel in 1851. The names of the rest of the family do not match up. They came from a community in Tennessee called Bellbuckle. I believe the Bomar is also written up in the history of Grayson County.
