Brinlee Branch (N 33.27928 W 96.47971)- flows into Sister Grove Creek - nearest large town - Blue Ridge - seems to be where Hiram's Collin Co. grant land was (between Anna and Blue Ridge) so I'd assume the branch was named after Hiram. There were no other early Brinlees in Collin Co. - not even Hiram's brother George made it to Collin Co. We had a male cousin take the Y DNA test - our Brinlee family (so far) matched no other early Brinlee, Brindley, Brinley, Brindle group in the U.S. (included in the testing was someone from the John B./Elizabeth Dups family) We had an exact match in Australia (I think without looking it up) - he had traced his ancestor to Ireland.
