I found a Frank Johnson, 5 boarding with Thomas Newell or Nowell. Hunt co in pct 6, area E of Willow Oak creek, near Commerce. In 1880 in Giles TN I found Jno F Birdwell 50 , wife Lucrecia, 30, children include Mary A 9.... also in Giles TN is Berry Brashears, Frances, and Nathan.
