McKinney born 1881 in Arkansas. Her father was Balis P. McKinney Born 1825 Monroe Co., Miss. and her mother was Mary Inez Born 1836 in Tenn. Balis P. McKinney was the fourth son of Collin McKinney born in 1794/5 at McKinney Station, Ky., Balis's mother was one Permelia McMicken. This Collin McKinney is NOT the famous one of Texas Independence fame. This Collin McKinney's Clan migrated to Texas in the late 1840's - 1850's via Louisana and Arkansas.
