The book is in the McKinney Annex. Here is the article: Military Discharge Records These records were kept at the county level, starting at the end of World War One. These first few in Book 1 give, mostly: name, rank, place of birth, place of enlistment or induction, age at enlistment, occupation, physical identification: color of eyes, hair, skin, and height, place of discharge, date of discharge, name of senior officer, often military service information (one of these received discharge due to medical problem, another won a silver chevron, one never shot a rifle, etc), and whether married or single.
