The book is mostly on the history of the county and does not have very many family histories. There are write-ups on the communities and schools of Copeville, Farmersville, Josephine and Lavon. Of course, some people are listed, but there are few family histories. It also contains the muster rolls for the Civil War units. The book is $35 plus $4 for postage. If you are from the area, it does not have to be mailed. Your best source for the people in the area you are interested in it A HISTORY OF NEVADA, TEXAS. Unfortunately, it is out of print.
