    3. I met a man from Lavon a couple of months ago who was wanting to do a history of Lavon, mostly from oral interviews. It would be nice if he did. There is a lady in Blue Ridge who says she is going to write a history of Blue Ridge and she has a lot of material. I have been trying for about 4 years to get her going. I would love to have a copy of Grace Evans book on Nevada. I think it is wonderful, except for no index. I have found a few mistakes in it. I recently wrote a historical marker application for the Empire Masonic Lodge in Nevada. I used her book for a reference, but found a few conflicts between it and deed records and the masonic lodge records. Do you know where the old Empire community was? The Bear Creek Cemetery is all that is left there. It is in bad shape, but a Boy Scout choose it this year for his Eagle project. The masonic lodge has also adopted it. Maybe it will be maintained in the future. What names are you interested in? Joy Georgiamhh@aol.com wrote: > > Thank you for your prompt reply. I have Grace Evans Book on Nevada.
