    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/UkB.2ACI/4802.1 Message Board Post: The two cemeteries known together as the Twin Cemetery are Honaker and Murchison, located about 2 1/2 miles NE of Farmersville on County Road 1027. Honaker Cemetery is on the South side of the road, Murchison is on the North side. According to COLLIN COUNTY (TX) CEMETERY INSCRIPTIONS, Volumes I and II, there is no Thomas Cox in either of these cemeteries. In Honaker Cemetery we find: COX, Janie (Wife of W. J.)......Sept. 1, 1852 -- Dec. 21, 1875 Homer (son of O.M. and J.E.).....July 27, 1889 -- Sept. 20, 1891 In Murchison Cemetery we find: COX, Little Eva (Daughter of W.J. and Thetas)......April 19, 1883 -- Oct. 4, 1884 A book on the locations and histories of the Collin County cemeteries states that both of these cemeteries had been long neglected. In fact,..." a Sheriff's group came in to clear and clean one of them." Also, in the cemetery inscription book there was a note: "Dense brush and briar tangles prevented our locating some gravestones during our initial effort. These were included as we discovered them." Perhaps the graves of Thomas and his wife were never discovered and are still well hidden in one of these cemeteries. Of the Thomas Cox's that I found listed at other cemeteries, none were even close to being old enough to be your Thomas Cox. (According to the 1870 census he was born in 1808.) And I also found no listing for Dicey (or Dicie) Cox. I'm sorry this wasn't more helpful. Judy

    3. Is there possibly a mention Of John N. Snyder (Snider), d. between 1875 & 1880, Collin County, in the cemetery books you have been referencing? Any help appreciated.
