    1. [TXCOLL-N-L] Honaker Cemetery, Collin Co

    3. Hi -- well, I did make it to Texas then to Louisiana, and back to Farmersville, TX . We went too far north , then came back to town to funeral home, and got better directions to the cemetery, which was very easy to find. Miracle !!! Someone has been in and cleaned up a lot. It is possible to make your way through the entire cemetery -- wear old pants! and water proof boots! It was raining a little, but it was so quiet and nice. My grandmother doesn't have a marker, but thanks to you all who gave me info, I did find the southwestern corner where she is buried, and that satisfied me. The grave markers that are standing seem to be before 1900, a nd a lot of them are broken or fallen over. The cemetery is on both sides of the road, and contrary to info someone gave me about there being two cemeteries there, Twin & Honaker, the lady at the funeral home said it is all one cemetery. She said something else that worries me a little -- hope I went to the right cemetery! She said there is another Honaker Cemetery southwest of town somewhere. Anyone know about this one? Please don't tell me if I went to the wrong cemetery. Thanks again to everyone who helped me -- I thought you might be interested to know that I at least found my great grandmother Martha Ann Williams Bryant's little corner of the world.
