    1. Re: [TXCOLLIN-N] Copies of death certificates - Library?
    2. Go to the Texas State Library WebSite and go into the genealogy section. They have a lot of county records on microfilm. Many of the older death certificates are in this section. You can have your library interlibrary loan them for the cost of the postage. I have got many this way. Also, the Dallas County library has many of the death records on microfilm, I don't know if they have a research section that will copy for you or not, but it is definately worth the trip. ----- Original Message ----- From : [email protected] Sent : 2 Feb 2006 08:22:05 -0700 To : [email protected] Subject : [TXCOLLIN-N] Copies of death certificates - Library? >This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. I really cannot afford $21 for every death certificate I need to further my research. I called Collin County clerk's office yesterday, and it's certified death certificates only. They do not offer genealogists a break like Denton County does. Any information will be greatly appreciated.
