It's a mystery what happened to her. I've been in contact with a couple of people in Lincoln & Wilkes Counties, GA regarding the Glazes & Greshams, and I'm sure there is still quite a lot of family there, so possibly it's just a matter of tracking _them_ down to learn where and when Susan ended up. I have another loose end where I'm hitting a wall: Minnie Lee Shepherd Gresham. Although her maiden name is listed as Shepperd or Sheppard on some records I've recently seen, the family spelled it Shepherd, and I located her sister Irene Shepherd Hanks today with the correct spelling. What I can't find are any of the 3 brothers I knew she had, OR her parents. I've been all over the parts of Ancestry.com that I can get to (the free parts) and RootsWeb, with no luck. I think another factor involved is that while Minnie (who I think was the oldest of the children) was born in TN, I'm pretty sure the family moved to AR, or maybe TX after her birth, and maybe I'm not searching correctly?
