KinH> How many KING's actually lived in Collin County Texas in 1880 KinH> and 1890?? You asked this question, but do you really want someone to get the 1880 Census and whatever city directories and actually count the number of people with the surname KING? If someone took the time to do that, and sent you an E-Mail back that said "there were 73 people named KING listed in the 1880 Collin County Census, and 56 people in the 1887 City Directory for McKinney, would that information be on any use to you, really? (By the way, the above numbers are just "made up".) I'm having trouble understanding why this information would be useful. In Volume 1 of the Collin County Cemetery Inscription Book, the index shows that there are KINGs documented on at least 29 pages, probably in at least 20 different cemeteries. I'm not sure it is reasonable for someone to ask this kind of research to be done by others; it seems like the kind of thing you yourself need to get the documentation and dig out, if this is really what you are looking for. But, I probably mis-understood your question. Judd A Texan Living in California
