I found it in the Daily Courier-Gazette in McKinney. It was in a column called M'Kinney 25 Years Ago, dated 18 Feb 1932, pg. 1. Feb 18, 1907 The remains of Mrs. Scates arrived in McKinney today from Nolan County, West Texas, where she died and were buried in the Milligan Cemetery. Eld. John M. McKinney conducted the funeral services. She was 73 years old and formerly lived in the Illinois School-house Community. She was the mother of J.H. Blankenship and W.B. Blankenship, both of McKinney.
