I am searching for a lady who was in the family of John C. Fowler b. @1818 KY & his wife Olivia Heath b. @1821 KY or IN, it has varied. They moved all the time, never in the same state 2 census records in a row and then moved within the State also. They vary ages, places of birth, often putting the last place they lived instead of place of birth and then jump from first to middle name or vice versa. It makes them really hard to track down. They show in Denton Co., Stewart Creek Twp, TX on the 1860 Census but they had a daughter, Mary "Mollie" Ann Fowler, born in Collin Co. 1855. They had a daughter, Olivia Fowler, born in Dallas, TX @1862-1864 and they also had a daughter who married in Collin Co., TX Mar 14, 1861, Ellen Fowler married Cornelius Lewis. He died before Feb 1863, I do not know if it was the Civil War or what? But his probate was 1863 and then she begins using the name of Rachel Fowler and married her 2nd husband, Nelson Cogdell with the name Rachel Lewis July 5, 1865 in Collin Co., TX. But I am wondering what became of her sister, Isabelle Fowler who appeared to be born 1850 in MO. She only showed on the 1860 Denton Co., Stewart Creek Twp, TX Census. I do not know if she died or married and had used her middle name or first name or what? They are so hard to track down but she is lost to me completely unless some kind soul can see a Fowler who may have married about 1866 on who had the first or middle initial "I" and the last name Fowler? On the next Census the parents and 2 youngest sisters, Mary "Mollie" Ann b. @1855 Collin Co., TX & Olivia Fowler (who later uses the name Martha O. on 1 Census) b. @1862-1864 TX are all in Granby Twp, Newton Co., MO. I do not know where Rachel Ellen Fowler Lewis Cogdell b. @1843 MO, and her husband Nelson C. Cogdell were in 1870. I do not know where Isabelle Fowler b. @1850 MO was in 1870? I do not know where my David William Fowler b. @1845 MO was, it was such a common name and there were so many. He was my Gr. Grandpa but I lose him from 1860 until he shows up in Searcy Co. 1877 and married my Gr. Grandma, Cassandra Minerva Jane Enterprise Goodman (all except last are given names, it was her first marriage). in 1878 Van Buren Co. AR and he is dead before 1884. I figure he was old enough when he married Cass Goodman to have been widowed or divorced? Any help would be appreciated.
