Hello All, I am new to this list, having just found out today that my paternal great-grandfather was born in Collin County, TX, approx. 1870. His name is John Houston Combs. He married Emma Frances Stanley ca. late 1880s to early 1890s, and had seven children, all of whom were born in Upshur County, TX (as was Emma, ca. 1867). According to a 1920 census of Hardeman Co., TX, John's parents were both born in Missouri. Here is my brick wall. If anyone has info on this family, please email the list.
