I am working on the Womble family . they came from Tennessee and on to Arkansas Oklahoma and Texas. My gg granfather was John Dow Womble born 1-13 1853 and died in Madison Co Texas in 1941. I found a Holly or Hally Womble on the Civil war list from Collin Co and wonder if there is any connection? In this family the names John, Jefferson and Dow seems to be prevelant. Any informaation on this will be helpful. Doris
