    3. Tommie, What area are you in? Is there a large library near you? Is there a Latter Day Saints Family History Center near you where you could order censuses? If there is either of these, I think I'd try to research these before I made a trip to an area on a limited time basis. Maybe your daughter has access to these records. How long have you been doing genealogy research? If not long, you might get a book from the library on how to do genealogy research so that you know where to start and what records you need to look at when you get there. Just trying to help prevent some mistakes I've made.
