Hi, I looked in the Wise County history book and found the following Charles Donoho CATES, born near Cleveland ,Tennessee, January 7, 1839 married Rowena T. Hale, March 12, 1868. His brother Dave, is mentioned briefly children of Charles and Rowena Cates were Charles Cates, Jr.married Lorena Kimbrough John Hale Cates married Opal Kenny Cliff D. Cates Archie B.
