Mitzi, Thanks you so very much for the great information. I would appreciate any information about the Seminole connection. You may have open a new path for me to search down. I have just received information from a Charlotte Sasek that you may know. SHe found information about the Mantooth name on both the Dawes and Miller Roll. She also found an application by my g grandmother Elizabeth Martha Humbard. She was turned down for some reason but a 1st cousin was placed on the roll. She also found some listed for Collett which was my mothers maiden name and also some Swoffords which was my grandmothers maiden name. She also found some names that were enrolled through a Thomas Mantooth who I believe from research was my gg grandfather who was reported to be full blood. Over all I feel this proves what I wanted to know, I am a Cherokee, from many different directions. I may never be able to become a member of the tribe but in my heart I know. I have always knew that I think. I have also been told that my grandmother Mary Katherine Spray Collett was a Choctaw from OK. I have not been able to prove that as yet. I have also been told that there is some Comanche in there also. Maybe one day I will find out that I am Cherokee/Choctaw/Seminole/Comanche. I would love that. Thanks again and I would love to hear about anything else you might come across. I have only been at this genealogy searching for about 5 months and if nothing else I have met a lot of very good friends and relatives. I have me one relative Brian Corntassel that has a number of Mantooth names in his ancestry and he is for certain a Cherokee and I believe a member of the East Cherokee tribe. I know he has set up a walk in Atlanta, GA. this next month in honor of the Cherokees on the trail of tears and also the Eastern band. Thanks again, Tom
