Hi, I am a descendant of Richard Tinsley "Tin" PETERMAN and "Bettie" Dale Peterman. "Tin" was also known as Uncle Pete. They moved to Celina (Collin Co.) TX about 1900 from Celina (Clay Co.) TN with their 10 sons. Bettie died in 1935 and "Tin" died in 1948 at the age of 93 years. I am looking for information on the following surnames: STONE, BURRUS, PETERMAN, HALSELL, FANCHER and KIRKPATRICK. I am particularly looking for information on Sarah Ann BURRUS, b. 1861 d. June 1901. She was buried in the Old Celina Cemetery next to her husband, Martin S. Burrus who died in 1935. I believe that her surname was PETERMAN and that she was the sister of Richard Tinsley PETERMAN. Sarah Ann Peterman married Martin S. BURRUS 14 Sep 1876 in Clay County, TN. I believe that Sarah and Martin moved to Collin Co. TX sometime between 1876 and 1880 with others of the BURRUS family who are also buried in the Old Celina Cemetery.
