    3. Hello Ray: Upon re-reading your email regarding DURHAM I couldn't find any reference that I had responded to your query. If I did then please regard this email as a duplicate. My DURHAM line is by marriage into the GILMORE branch on the tree. So far I have determined that the DURHAM/GILMORE were married in Tennessee and migrated to Texas where my Great-grandfather settled the family in Lisbon area of Dallas. My gg-grandfather as far as I can tell didn't come to TX with the rest of the family. My gg-grandmother and her mother did come with the rest of the family. So I feel that my gg-grandfather must have died prior to the family leaving TN. My Grandfather settled in McKinney, TX. and live there until about a year prior to his death. Most of my GILMORE/DURHAM family are buried in the Lisbon Cemetery in Dallas. Please let me know if there are any names that I can check for you in that cemetery I have the list of burials. Is that in Collin County, TX also? My Durham line lived in & around Blue Ridge (Collin Co.),TX. E.J. Durham & Ethel (Cassity) Durham were the parents of 8 children. Only the next to the youngest, James, is still living at Blue Ridge. > > E.J. was born in Alabama (Blount Co.) in 1880. His father, Daniel, was descended from a family in S. Carolina. I have some more details. > > Happy hunting! Ray George rgeo@tca.net >
