Author: bighootchie Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.texas.counties.collin/4769.1.2/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Hi,George and Ellen came over on the SanJacinto in 1873 along with my ggreat grandmother and her sister,they also were from Christchurch.The sister Mary Ann Howe married their son George Jr.Theirs was the first English marriage in McKinney,Tx.George was born in 1822,Ellen was born in 1825,Elizabeth was born in 1859,George was born in 1852,Lucy born 1857,Walton in 1861,Ellen in 1867.Mary Ann was 2 years older than George Jr.Eliz married A.J.Winningkoff,they were from Louisiana.They were grocers.They were from New Orleans.A.J. was born in 1851.His mother and father were born in Prussia.Elizabeth and AJ had 4 children,E.L.born in 1875,A.C.in 1877,M.in1878,E.was 4 months in 1880.One of Mary Ann'grandchildren is still alive she is 93.and still lives at the homestead on Winningkoff Rd.I hope this helps Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
