William Wisdom married Dorcas Elliott Jan 8 1863 (8 is correct not 18) Married by Buford Henry, OMG William Wisdom married Sarah Trice 26 April 1870. (The return had Trace) Looks like Sarah to me; I can't see Linai. I feel that it is Green and not Greer; although I can see how she got Greer. There were Greers in the area. I have Dorcus Elloit January 18, 1863 I found that in the Collin County marriage records The next wife I found on a census and in the Collin County Marriage records and her name is Linai Trice 1870 You have her as Sarah. I have not found a document to verify her name was Sarah. The fourth wife I have both from Collin County Marriage records and 1880 census as Martha Ann Green. Her children are listed with William and the last name is very clear as Green. See Collin County Texas Junt 7 1880 census p 14 supervisors dist 4 enumeration dist 20 it is near the bottom of the page. Hope that helps... You can see that online but it does not mention anything about William...Lafayette's first wife Tennessee C Furgason is burried at the Housten Cemetery just west of town. He is listed as an early resident. I checked the cemetery Inscription book and he is not listed. Perhaps in 1972 the ladies could not find his grave either. There is no obituary in the McKinney newspaper index. I did find several mentions of him in thee Quarterly put out by our society.
