    1. [TXCOLL-N] 1927 Obituary in Westminster area???
    2. Could someone please tell me if there are newspaper archives from Westminster in 1927? I'm looking for an obituary of a person who died in 1927 in Westminster. If not, where would be the next best newspaper to find an obituary for this person. Many thanks. Duston Brooks

    1. Re: [TXCOLL-N] TATE
    2. Hello, I thought I posted a new message the other day, but I have not seen it, so just in case I didn't send it right, I will try again. I am looking for information on Rev. John TATE from Collin Co., He died there in 1868. One of his sons was Robert H. TATE that married Elizabeth Cornelia TAYLOR in 1861. She married in 1871 to Sanders HUSBANDS. In Rev. John TATE's Probated Will it states Robert H. TATE was deceased at the time. I am especially searching for information as to when and how he died. Was it during the Civil War. Robert & Elizabeths son, William TATE was born in 1862. He is another mystery I cannot solve. As to his death.. If anyone has any information I would appreciate it so very very much ! Thank you, Rebecca Tate1899Shells@webtv.net Visit my web page: http://community.webtv.net/AmericafayeII/Reflections0

    2. Hi ... I am trying to locate my gg grandfather, George W. Rickman - wife Mary A. He is on the 1860 MS census but then is gone by 1870. Rumor has it that he went to TX or TN. Can not find him in TN thus am trying TX. Relatives were living in Farmersville, Texas (namely James Rickman). Does anyone on the list have access to the 1870 census and can check for his name? Thanks .. Robie
