Honaker Cemetery is on the South side of the road, Murchison is on the North side. According to COLLIN COUNTY (TX) CEMETERY INSCRIPTIONS, Volumes I and II, there is no Thomas Cox in either of these cemeteries. In Honaker Cemetery we find: COX, Janie (Wife of W. In fact,..." a Sheriff's group came in to clear and clean one of them." Also, in the cemetery inscription book there was a note: "Dense brush and briar tangles prevented our locating some gravestones during our initial effort. These were included as we discovered them." Perhaps the graves of Thomas and his wife were never discovered and are still well hidden in one of these cemeteries. Of the Thomas Cox's that I found listed at other cemeteries, none were even close to being old enough to be your Thomas Cox. (According to the 1870 census he was born in 1808.) And I also found no listing for Dicey (or Dicie) Cox. I'm sorry this wasn't more helpful. TX area @1855-1865. I cannot locate the Isabella Fowler born MO 1850 to John C. Fowler & Olivia Heath Fowler. I am hoping she married and hoping to locate her married name. John C. Fowler & Olivia Heath Fowler had children: 1. Rachel Ellen Fowler b. @1843 MO m. Cornelius Lewis @1861 Collin Co. TX, he died and she m. Nelson Cogdell @1865 & they later moved to AR 2. William D. Fowler b. @1845 prob married before he married Cassandra Minerva Jane Enterprise Goodman in 1878 Van Buren Co. AR then d. prior to 1884. 3. Isabella Fowler b. @1850 MO was with her parents in Denton Co. Stewart Creek Twp, TX 1860 and I never located her again. Her parents & 2 younger sister were in Newton Co. MO 1870 & Searcy Co. AR 1880 but I have no idea what became of Isabella. I do not know her other name (middle or first). 4. Mary "Mollie" Ann Fowler b. @1855, McKinny, Collin Co., TX. I have tracked her & her children pretty well. 5. Martha Olivia Fowler b. @1861-1866 Dallas, TX married Francis Matchett and they raised their 3 sons in Searcy Co. AR. There may have been others but I only know about the 5, I only learned about Ellen & Isabella when I located the family on the 1860 Census a few years ago. The family was never in the same state 2 census records in a row until the Father had died in 1889 Searcy Co. AR. One reason they are so hard to locate is that they put the last place they lived instead of place of birth at times (as "where are you FROM?"). And they varied the year of birth at times and hopped from first to middle name at times and yet I do not know the middle (or is it FIRST) names until I just stumble upon it. John C. Fowler b. @1818 KY & Olivia Heath b. @1821 KY or IN were married in Gasconade Co. MO 1843 and they hopped around like fleas in a hot skillet after that. 1850 they were in Saline Co. Distr. 90, MO 1855 the will of Olivia's father, David Heath says they are in Cooper Co., MO 1855 the death certificate of Mary "Mollie" Ann Fowler says she was born in McKinny, Collin Co., TX 1855 1860 Census says they were in Denton Co., Stewart Creek, TX 1861 Olivia Fowler born in Dallas, TX. 1870 Census the parents and two youngest girls are in Newton Co., MO. I have not located the boy & 2 oldest girls. 1880 Census parents & 2 youngest girls are in Searcy Co. AR. 1880 Ellen Fowler & husband Nelson C. Cogdell are in Gap, Montgomery Co., AR I have no idea where Isabel and D. Will Fowler were. Can you make any connection with this family? Thank you, Charlene

My g. grandfather, Charles Isaac (or Ignatius, as some have noted) Marriott’s first wife was Mary Elizabeth Cotter and 3 of her sisters married 3 of William’s sons. So we are related in various ways. Charles Isaac had most of his children by his second wife, Martha Ellen Holcomb (after Mary Elizabeth died ) in the vicinity of Collin County, before the family moved to Oklahoma in about 1904. I have some information on William’s children but not much further than that. I would be happy to share with you what I have. As far as I know, all of my family spelled the surname with an "a".
