There is a whole section of County books and the people there are gracious and helpful. There may be tax records that would also show some family records.

I am searching for information on Mary Ann (Mollie) King, who was married to William H. Penn. Mollie was born in Bartow County, GA in 1845 to Elisha King and Mary Reese and came to TX with her husband, William, in 1869 and settled in the Rockwall area. They had three children, Annie, Maude, and Laura Ida. Mollie was killed by a train in Greenville in 1923 and is buried in Farmersville, TX. I have hit a brickwall, but am still hoping to find someone who can help to fill in the blanks. Sue
>Georgia, Thanks for the information. I had most of it except the marriage date. I have been researching the Cryer families in TX for several years, as my grandmother was a Cryer. I was hoping to get an obit to see if they had more children and to get Teressa's parents names. Faye -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus.
