there is information about this situation/events (Lee- Peacock) online. I had run across it, since there were Boren family members involved. I had printed these, but they are buried in the moving mess of boxes. Try using google for the term, it should bring up information. Wendy --------------------------------- Yahoo! Autos. They may have been skipped or no headstone at the time 1972. I dont have a new list of Farmersville.

Pardon me for stepping in on the conversation, but would you please tell me when the Lee-Peocock War was & is there a list somewhere of who died as a result of that war? Thanks, Rebecca RE: However, if you are looking for the older cemetery where many folks who were involved with the Lee-Peacock War are buried, then continue on North toward the Fannin County line where there is a road off to the right (that should be the second road to the right North of Pike). I believe that this is a dirt road that turns back South & turns back East & then back North again. The cemetery (Lee Cemetery) should be located there at the intersection where another road comes in from the East. Please note that this area is remote & you should not go over there alone or in wet weather!!!
I need to know the number or name of the road from, Celeste, in Hunt Co. to Blue Ridge. Also the road to the Pike Cem. Thanks, Bonnie childress leblanc
Howdy! The road from Blue Ridge is FM 981 East toward Pike; however, there [or maybe even further back West when FM 981 turns North toward Pike] just keep driving 1 mile due East to the county line & where definitely the road number changes to FM 1562 & on to Celeste. In order to drive to the Pike Cemetery stay on FM 981. I don't know what buildings currently remain in the Pike community; however, I think that I remember that the cemetery is located near the highway there. I also found George and Darthula and kids Cleo, Florence, Ermine and Earl in the same precinct. With James was his brother in law John Williamson. with George was his mother in law Martha Pruett. The census says John Morris was born in TN in 1881. In the 1880 TN census I found James and wife Sally (a possible nickname for Sarah) with his brother William. I found a marriage for George and Darthula in 1887 in Collin county.
