Thomas Calhoun Boone born in 1865 in McKinney, collin, Texas and shows up at least in the 1930 and 1910 Cenus residing in Oklahoma. He Married Mary E. Orenduff (11 Nov 1865) in collin county. His marriage shows up in the link I posted for collin county historical records. Both are buried in Oklahoma - Pittsburg to be exact and their graves now show up on findagrave.com because I requesed a pic to be posted (it is downloadable) His death is Decemenber 1940 in Wilburton, Latimer Oklahoma, USA. They had (that I know of) one son - Wayne G Boone (10 May 1894) to 23 June 1961 and died in Wilburton, Latimer OKlahoma - TC boone was sucessful in Texas - but I've not had time to research his history. I do have a few letters from him and Mary to the rest of the "Orenduffs" in Collin County - and I am still trying to get things together. When I have pictures and letters posted, I will send a notice to view my public tree. I owe Ms. Scribner as well this information - but it's a slow go. I am also going to visit several cemeterys in Collin/Grayson county in May, if anyone wants pics and can't get them through findagrave.com - let me know - I'll take what I can find. Sorry so sketchy. Joshua's son James and Nancy Taylor were my gggrandparents. My ggrandmother's birth certificate says she was born on the Jim Lee farm. I don't know if that was his land or part of his father's. I found the land Joshua had, but not Jim's. Ggrandma had a sister named Anna that was in an orphanage. We don't know why they didn't (wouldn't) say, and now they are gone. Ggrandma lived to be about 100 and was quite a character. She passed away in El Paso. I still don't know who Joshua's parents were or any of his siblings. I found where he had land in Illinois, and Kentucky before comming to TX. If you find any of these answers please let me know. Thank you! Collin marriages show Zuritha to JB Lee, Peter to Mandania Reagan, Nancy to James Wilmeth, Rebecca to James Johnson. 1860 census shows Peter 26, and wife Maudani and two children living next to Eliza Roberts, male, 61, Daniel 16, Jeremiah, 14. Next door is William, Elizabeth and their 3 children. Also Mary C Roberts 13, is living in the household of Zuritha Lee and Lee children, John 17, James 6, Elizabeth 5, Joshua 3 and Francis 1. John was born in IL. The marriage of J B Lee (of Dallas county) and Zuritha Roberts was on Dec 16th 1852. Peter E Roberts, Mar 22 1834 - May 27 1861 is bur at Fitzhugh Cemetery (Forest Grove) and Mandana Roberts married David B Davis Feb 16 1865. and she is also buried at Fitzhugh Jan 10 1839- Jan 15 1892. obit for Mrs D B Davis McKinney Democrat 1/21/1892 p 3. may or may not give any more info.
