I went through the Pitts books and didn't find him. Also the 1909 McKinney Obituary listing and the Plano Courier index. The Texas death index only showed a Jas. Shields death Aug 1909. I don't see him in my probate file either, sorry. I found the family in 1900 around Frisco, Allen in pct 6 but not later on in 1910. In 1900 Robert lives next to Samuel who shows up in Farmersville in 1910. His mother Eliza lives with him. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Connie Welch" <lostdove1@yahoo.com> To: <TXCOLL-N@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, June 07, 2008 4:50 AM Subject: [TXCOLL-N] Lookup needed Please > I am looking for a will or obit for a Robert W.S. I did find a death certificate for Lee Josiah Foster - it is attached. You wrote that the Lee J Foster you were looking for died in Collin County in 1895. The Lee J Foster I found was BORN in 1895. It clearly shows his parents. Take a look. I do have access to many Foster obits, including Lee Josiah Foster. If you decide this is the Lee you are looking for, email me and I will get you the obituary. If you can get me more details, I will search birth/death/marriage/probate records. Bush cemetery was at 121 and Custer. Hi Aurora and all... There is also the Dunaway Family Cemetery located in what was Lebanon though there are only Dunaway family members buried there. The Heritage Association of Frisco putting a historical marker at that cemetery in the later part of this June. While the Dunaway Cemetery is now located in what they call Frisco. The Bush Cemetery is in a borderline area????....(not sure how much of it is in Frisco proper?)as a Bush descendant explained to me...somewhere near where the Super Target is now located on 121? Think the graves have since been removed to Rowlett Cemetery. I would love to know more about the actual location. The Sonntag/Sontag graves were moved to Bethel Cemetery as you noted (and as in reference to the newspaper article written as the last two were found in recent times) I am pretty sure that the location was as Lebanon Rd. crossed the tollway. The area would have been called Lebanon then. We have a new member in the FGS who is a Sonntag descendant and knows quite a bit about that line...he has some super pics and great stories. FYI: the Zion Cemetery of Frisco/Denton County book is now complete and being sold at the new Frisco Heritage Museum. (Gave up on getting bluebonnet picture this year.) Just north of that Lebanon Rd crosses Preston Rd. The area is pretty much taken over by Frisco. http://www.mapquest.com/maps/Lebanon TX/ If you look for Legacy Rd and Dallas North Tollway then go a little east you'll see the Baccus Cemetery fenced in. Baccus Cemetery, also known as Cook Cemetery is in northwest Plano. It is now surrounded by an upscale shopping center/condo complex. Joys book lists two cemeteries in Lebanon, the Bush cemetery, at Lebanon and Coit Rd, believed to have 5 or more unmarked graves; lists 3 of the Bush Family. The Sonntag Cemetery, near Lebanon and the Tollway. Graves were moved to bethel Cemetery. Who are you looking for? Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
