My mother and her siblings were born in Rockwood. There parents were Roy and Emma Steward Johnson. I know from family stories that the Steward's settled there when my grandmother was about three years of age (1885). I don't have alot of resources for family stories as my grandparents and all their children are deceased. My mother's name was Bobbie Johnson, and I was wondering if any of your family might remember her and if they had any stories of knowing her or the Steward family. I feel sure that the farm that your "Clem" lived at when he died must have been part of my Steward family. Would appreciate any stories they know. I really enjoyed reading your mother's and grandmother's memories. That is what I want to do with my family story: personalize it with their stories (even if some of them will be second or third hand). I didn't send this thru the Coleman page as I didn't feel that I have alot of info. Thanks again, I think your idea to share stories/research is really good.
