Brothers William and Ephraim Watson, along with their families, migrated to Cass county, Texas, from Georgia circa 1854. William [b. 1821] and Ephraim Watson [b. 1823] were born in Sumter county, South Carolina...sons of Thomas Jefferson Watson and Martha Bottoms. In 1845, the Watson brothers married Hartsfield sisters--Martha [b. 1823] and Mary [b. 1825]--in Pike county, Georgia. They were the daughters of James Hartsfield and Nancy Olive.
