That would possibly help me pinpoint more info. I have three Akins men, a father, James Isaac Campbell Akins Born in Choctaw co. Miss., his wife's name was Elizabeth Missouri Hanes Akins. And they had two son's that I have down. ~The son's are LeeRoy Green Akins and the other being Newton C. Akins. Both of the sons were born in Cass co. around 1880's and their wives' names have escaped me at the moment, however, I can obtain that info if you wish me to dig it up. Do the dates or anything sound remotely close to what you're looking for? Have you contacted anyone at the Cass co Genealogical Society? They are of great use too, very helpful folks. Have you also looked at the census reports, don't forget about neighbors, sometimes you'll find a relative only a few doors away or so.
